New tires met my lovely Boyd wheels today. The new Schwalbe X-One TLE (Tubeless Easy) 35mm tires were great in their debut on mixed terrain. I also was able to break out a new jersey, the Velocio Radiator Mesh jersey. They say they are made for the most oppressive days, and this wasn’t quite one, but I was impressed with the wicking and cooling ability of this top in 80 degree temps. Finally a ride with Nick and some gravel. I’ve been trying to get back to this route for a long time, and it was awesome as expected. A scorcher on the path around Grand Island. Not much to say today, but happy with the front mounted 360 video and new music I made after finishing this 50 mile ride. A great day all around. 189 miles so far this week, and it’s only Wednesday. (I count the week as Monday through Sunday). Footage was shot on the Insta360 One X in 360 in 5.7k and made flat, 24fps 1080 and rendered using H264. Editing is done in the Insta360 app and then finished in LumaFusion using the really he

New week, new chain, and a new “friend” inside the cemetery. I’m sorry about the audio and video. I changed the shutter to 1/48 and it was too bright and blew out the shots. I also tried stereo instead off Auto for sound, and yikes, it sucked! Probably buying a wireless mic this week. This is ridiculous. #MovieMonday #video

Hey, Bob here. I hope you enjoy the latest offering from me, the Cycling from Square One Podcast on anchor.fm. I was planning on having an audio book to go along with Cycling from Square One, and I decided that a podcast would give me even more leeway. I could cover all the chapters but not have to be so rigid about it, and I could share it in a format that lots of us enjoy. It will soon get out on all the major podcasting platforms, and I will let you know when those happen.
Last year at this time, we were out and about exploring and getting places. This year, we are doing hard things like staying home and practicing social distancing in hope that it slows the spread of a pandemic. It's a sad but necessary state of affairs, and to somewhat lessen the isolation, I will be trying to run some Zwift Meet Ups on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays through April. The Omcyclingbuffalo rides take place at 3:30 EST. To join, you need to message me (FB, IG,
